Welcome to the Cornerstone Cares Food Pantry and Basic Needs Bank - a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Our mission is to serve the North Chesterfield community with perishable and non-perishable food, diapers, wipes, and other basic needs. While we are a Christian organization, we welcome individuals from all backgrounds and faiths to join us for service.

Pre-registration for on-campus shopping closes the third Wednesday of the month.

Pre-registration for on-campus shopping is CLOSED for August. You can walk-in on Saturday for service.

Below you will find information about how we operate and what you can expect when visiting us on campus.

*We are only open on-campus every 3rd Saturday of the month. We are unable to provide services outside of our scheduled delivery and on-campus dates.

We are located at 6100 Cornerstone Blvd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234 in Shepherd’s Hall (building at the back of campus with a burgundy awning).

Available items: perishable and non-perishable food, diapers and wipes, baby food, menstrual products, incontinence products, tissue, paper towels, hygiene items, and other basic needs - we are a donation-based organization and cannot guarantee specific items on distribution days.
Shopping Experience Process
We are excited to serve you! Here's what you can expect and the rules when visiting Cornerstone Cares:

- When you arrive to CBC, please park in the lot directly in front of Shepherd's Hall towards the back of the campus. Follow the directional signs.
- Please secure your car and belongings before lining up on the sidewalk.
- Camping and overnight parking is strictly prohibited on church grounds.
- Guests are not allowed on the playgrounds and basketball courts.
- Please do not begin forming a line until 10AM. Our rules and procedures are for everyone's safety and for a smooth shopping experience.
- Registration will begin at 10:50AM.
- The building opens at 10:50AM, including restrooms.
- There will be two lines: pre-registered guests and walk-ins.
- Guests are allowed to bring their own soft chairs to sit in while they wait. No metal chairs allowed.
- You are encouraged to dress for the weather as the line is outside.
- There is no food or drinks allowed in the building. No large bags or backpacks will be allowed past the registration area.
- Pre-registered guests are served first; walk-ins will be served based on availability.
- No ID or other documentation is needed.
- When shopping, please keep a watchful eye of your child(ren). Volunteers are unable to care for children as they are serving.
- Guests will receive a lanyard with a number or alphabet upon check-in; this indicates the shopping order.
- Guests will be escorted to a waiting room until their number/letter is called.
- Once your number/letter is called, you will proceed to the waiting line in the hallway.
- Once you enter the pantry, you will be supported by a family guide.
- If you need assistance reaching items or holding your bags, please ask for assistance from a family guide.
- Each section will display the limits per household. Please adhere to the limits to ensure we are able to assist as many households as possible.
- Your shopping experience should last about 8 minutes or less to ensure we can serve the most amount of families.
- By joining us on-campus, you provide consent to be photographed or videographer by CC/CBC.

We reserve the right to discontinue services due to safety concerns or the failure to adhere to Cornerstone Cares rules (written or spoken).
On-Campus Pre-Registration Criteria
- Guests must pre-register by completing the form below.
- Only one person per household per month can shop/receive services.
- Guests must be present to shop - no shopping for individuals not physically present.
- No ID or other documentation is needed for on-campus shopping. You will be asked to verify information upon check-in.
- We are a donation-based organization and are unable to guarantee any item.
Delivery Pre-Registration Criteria
- Guests must pre-register utilizing the form below.
- Guests must have a disability of +50%, be a veteran, or is homebound (homebound - unable to leave your home to shop).
- Guests must provide proof of status, such as photo identification with age, VA Benefits Letter, VA Health ID Card, or citation of Purple Heart award via the form or email.
- Guests must live within 3 miles of Cornerstone Baptist.
- Guests are limited to one delivery per household per month.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to bring an ID with me?
A: No, you do not need an ID. You are required to register (pre-register or onsite as a walk-in).

Q: If I have kids, do I have to bring them with me?
A: The choice is yours. You are welcomed to bring your kids/entire family with you. If you bring your kids, you are responsible for watching them throughout your visit. Please dress for the weather as the line starts outside and bathrooms are not available in the building until 10:50AM.

Q: Do I have to live in Chesterfield for service?
A: On-campus service is available to anyone who registers. Delivery is only available for homebound seniors and disabled veterans in a 3 mile radius of the church (effective January 2026).

Everyone is welcome to register. Registration closes on the third Wednesday of each month. Registered guests are served first, and walk ins are served as food and space allow.

Delivery is available by prior arrangement for qualifying neighbors who live within three miles of Cornerstone. A team member will confirm eligibility and scheduling with you.

What to expect when you arrive

  • Park near Shepherd's Hall at the back of campus and follow the directional signs.

  • A family guide will help you through the pantry and answer questions.
  • Plan for about eight minutes of shopping so we can serve as many households as possible.
