In chapter 21, David took matters into his own hands and made a COMPLETE mess of things. Because of his lies- the priest will die; because of his carelessness, Goliath’s sword is lost, and because of his haste, he is all alone in a cave. Chapter 22 is about a God who gives a second chance. This sermon examines the seasons in life in which God slows us down to show us our need for him.
